IN A NUTSHELL

Born and raised outside of Boston and currently living in New Orleans.  I've done some traveling in the past decade, mostly nomadic work endeavors in cities I was interested in.  Been in NOLA twice as long as I stayed anywhere else and it's become my offical second home.  I've always been lucky, and I'd rather be lucky than good anyday.  I won the love-lottery and my partner in crime, Lauren, who has held me down since high school, continues to do so here in NOLA.

The past decade has been spent building early-stage companies from the ground up.  Started in real-estate and mortgages, following emerging markets, managing teams, celebrating successes and learning from failures.  Switched to technology in 2009 and never looked back.  My first tech-startup raised almost 100mm in VC funding, grew from 10 to almost 100 employees and I was lucky enough to manage one of the most talented sales team I've ever been a part of. Currently I manage the business side of things for NOLA's center for Creativity, Revelry Labs.  In 24 months we've grown from 2 to 12 employees and havn't taken a dime of outside funding.

Experience 

Joined RECX in 2009 as one of the first team members of sell-side sales.  Helped grow team to over 25 and company headcount to almost 100.  Personally built largest individual book of business representing over half the traded volume on the Exchange.

Joined forces with /R founders to help manage hyper-growth business.  We work with Facebook and other large firms to pay the bills.  But our passion is building companies.  Both our own and those of hungry, dedicated founder out to change the world through technology.

Provided working capital loans to small and mid-market businesses.  Leveraged network of SMB clients, and quality capital providers, to connect growth oriented businesses with the capital they need to grow and increase profits.
